The Administration Department oversees the park district’s planning, budgeting, human resources, and overall coordination to ensure effective operation and public service.
The Park Police Department ensures visitor safety and resource protection throughout the parks, providing patrol, emergency response, and community-oriented law enforcement.

The Programs Department creates and delivers public nature-education and adventure–recreation programs (like the Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist program), helping the public engage with and learn about the parks.
The Stewardship Department manages natural land restoration and habitat work (including a native plant nursery and volunteer conservation programs) to protect the parks’ ecological resources.
The Operations Department handles the day-to-day upkeep of the parks—things like playground inspections, facility cleaning, mowing, vehicle and grounds maintenance—to keep the parks clean, safe and presentable.
The Construction Department is responsible for building and installing capital improvements (shelters, playgrounds, archery range etc.) and maintaining park structures and facilities.
